    Hi there, I'm Dan and I'd like to tell you a little about myself.

     D. Blesy Knives is my home business. I do enjoy hunting, fishing, and camping. I guess you could say I live for the outdoors. I also restore old cars. I enjoy working with my hands to create things. Any machine or tool that I need, I will make, if possible.

     I made my first knife decades ago while working on my grandfathers' farm. I have been fascinated with the process ever since.  I use time-honored knife making techniques. I use coal and/gas, preferably coal, depending on the weather.  I truly respect the craftsmanship of blade making and its' history.
